This page lists published plan facts for Zenfolio next to Pixiproof's pay-per-gallery and Studio options. It does not rank them. Zenfolio prices are the US dollar amounts its pricing page shows for the United States [1].

Zenfolio plans, as published

Zenfolio lists three plans: Basic, Professional and Advanced. Every plan includes client galleries and proofing, 24/7 customer support, and a custom website, domain and logo [1]. Annual plans are billed as one payment for the full year [1].

Basic: $9/month billed monthly, or $7/month billed annually. 15 GB of storage (Zenfolio says about 4,500 photos). HD video [1].
Professional: $23/month billed monthly, or $11.50/month billed annually. 150 GB (about 60,000 photos). Adds selling tools for prints, digitals and packages, integrated lab fulfillment, and up to 5 uses of Volume Wizard. Booking and Scheduling is a $10/month add-on [1].
Advanced: $40/month billed monthly, or $20/month billed annually. Unlimited JPEG storage plus 150 GB of video, with 4K video. Unlimited Volume Wizard and QR Code Workflow uses, up to 15 team members, and Booking and Scheduling included [1].

All plans accept JPEG, PNG, GIF and HEIC images and MP4 and MOV video. Add-on storage is available up to 100 TB [1].

Zenfolio's pricing FAQ says you can cancel at any time. A refund is offered as a courtesy if you cancel within 30 days of your initial signup or annual renewal; monthly plan cancellations and cancellations after that window are not refunded. The account stays active until the end of the billing period. After that, the website goes offline and the content becomes inaccessible [1].

Selling fees and the free trial

Selling through a custom price list is limited to Professional and Advanced subscribers [3]. On each order, Zenfolio charges a 7% commerce fee on the order subtotal, before tax and shipping and after any coupon [1]. Digital downloads add $0.09 per single file or a flat $0.99 for a full gallery or bulk download. Payment processing is charged by the processor: Stripe 2.9% + $0.30, PayPal 3.49% + $0.49 per transaction [1].

Zenfolio's help center says the 7% commerce fee is waived for the first 30 days of a new Professional or Advanced account after a subscription is purchased. The waiver does not apply during the free trial. Booking payments taken through BookMe are not charged the 7% commerce fee, though processing fees still apply [3].

The free trial needs no credit card [1]. It lasts 14 days and gives access to virtually all Professional features. You can sell during the trial, but payouts are not issued until you upgrade, and gallery email invitations and SMS are limited. If you do not upgrade, the account becomes inactive after 14 days [2].
